About Cathy
While working as a CPA in account management and consulting, I made the decision to pursue my true passion: design! After earning my B.A. in Interior Design from Marymount University and working with top designers in the Washington, D.C. area, I took the opportunity to create my own design firm. My accounting and business background have given me the skills to meticulously manage client budgets, oversee project details, and facilitate contractor and vendor communication. I believe this unique combination of project management and creative design skills is what sets me apart. I'm all about big idea designs, but I also understand the minutiae of how to plan, organize, and execute a project from start to finish. I’m a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD), as well as a professional member of the International Furnishings and Design Association.
My number one priority is developing a close working relationship with you, my client, so your unique style is reflected in all that we do together.
While my personal taste leans toward classic, timeless designs, I am constantly inspired to push the envelope and develop a varied repertoire of styles. Together we'll create a space that exudes joy and shouts "you"!
